During our trip I plan to visit some historical U2 landmarks. I made a map of everything I want to see:

The Morgan
After talking it over with Catherine we decided to book a room at The Morgan (http://www.themorgan.com). If we fly all day and we are really really tired we should be able to sleep through anything. Plus we might as well go to the center of the action right off the bat.
If anyone reads this that is planning on visiting Ireland and you want to stay at a hotel. Make sure to look on the hotel's website for a section to book in advance and prepay. There is a big discount for prepaying for your hotel room.

Air Coach
I figured out we can take the Air Coach (http://www.aircoach.ie) to our hotel once we get into Dublin. It is just like the Airporter in Vancouver. Apparently the buses use GPS so I can track where they go, that way I can see where they will take us and how far we may have to walk.
Dublin Hotels
We are going to be flying all day so I want to book a hotel for 2 days when we arrive in Dublin. After that it will be bed and breakfasts for the rest of the trip. I wanted to stay at The Clarence but for some reason they only allow checkouts on the day we arrive.
So far I have it narrowed down to a bunch of hotels:
- The Morgan (http://www.themorgan.com) this hotel is located in the Temple Bar district but is supposed to be loud if we get a suite in the front of the hotel. Not sure if we need noise after flying all night.
- Clontarf Castle (http://www.clontarfcastle.ie) this hotel looks cool but it is far away from everything.
- Number 31 (http://www.number31.ie/welcome.html) highly recommended, a B&B hotel.
- The Dylan (http://www.dylan.ie) EXPENSIVE! I'm dreaming.
