After talking it over with Catherine we decided to book a room at The Morgan (http://www.themorgan.com). If we fly all day and we are really really tired we should be able to sleep through anything. Plus we might as well go to the center of the action right off the bat.
If anyone reads this that is planning on visiting Ireland and you want to stay at a hotel. Make sure to look on the hotel's website for a section to book in advance and prepay. There is a big discount for prepaying for your hotel room.

Good choice! I looked at all 4 websites and I think Morgan is the best bet, with Dylan being 2nd and the Clontarf being 3rd. For optimal rest, I find that neutral shades (esp. whites!) are far more relaxing than stimulating reds and crazy modern deco patterns.
I am impressed that you're doing all the booking! :) In *my* household, guess who has to do all of the flight/accommodations/everything scheduling and booking? Guess who is clueless about the details? ;)
Speaking of which, I need to get on it to book dinner reservations while we're at Disneyland...
